Acceptance

By accessing datastreamtools.digital or engaging Datastreamtools for a bank reconciliation review or related cash review, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or request services.

Services described

Pages describing reviews, fees, and processes are informational. A binding engagement arises only when we issue and you accept a written confirmation (email is sufficient) stating scope, fee, and period.

Intellectual property

Site text, layout, and graphics are owned by Datastreamtools or its licensors. You may not copy substantive content for commercial use without written permission. Findings memos delivered under an engagement belong to the client for internal and audit use; we retain copies for our working papers subject to our privacy policy.

Client responsibilities

You must provide accurate statements and ledger extracts and must not withhold known exceptions material to the review. We rely on documents you supply; we do not guarantee discovery of fraud or every posting error.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Datastreamtools is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. For paid engagements, liability is limited to the fees paid for that engagement unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Website availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not warrant uninterrupted access. Content may change without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the website, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections if applicable.
